Throughout its episodes, the series narrates the biography of the Arab singing lady (Umm Kulthum) since her inception in Sinbillawain and her journey with her father and siblings in singing religious songs on all occasions, through her artistic career and her move to stability in Cairo, and the stories of love that she went through during her life, and her artistic glory until she mastered The lyric scene in Egypt, and the crises she encountered during her artistic work and social life.

Hekmat, the principal of a school for girls, tries to put her educational theory into effect across all the schools in Alexandria, but she faces a lot of obstacles, both within and without the school, in addition to her personal problems that she struggles to solve.

A love story between Dr. Hind, the wealthy girl, and the poor music teacher, decide to marry despite the rejection of the Hind family, but the family succumbs to the insistence of Hind and Sameh. After the marriage, the two lovers discover that love is not enough to withstand the class difference between them, and in front of the players (Adel) of Hind's partner in the hospital, who was scheduled to marry Hind before Sameh.
