Jean-Jacques and Alexandre Kantorow interpret Brahms Concert with the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne

The father sets the tone, the son takes the solo. In Lausanne, two stars come together on stage who just happen to be from the same family. Jean-Jacques Kantorow, who conducts the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne, opens the evening with Camille Saint-Saëns's Symphony n° 2. Alexandre Kantorow then joins him to perform Johannes Brahms's Piano Concerto No. 2.

Handel's Messiah @ Lausanne Cathedral 2025

As part of the celebrations marking the 750th anniversary of Lausanne Cathedral, Hans-Christoph Rademann conducts a monumental work of sacred music: Georg Friedrich Handel's Messiah, first performed in 1741.

Mozart: Lausanne Chamber Orchestra Ton Koopman and Julia Lezhneva

When he composed his motet ‘Exsultate jubilate’ K.165, Mozart was only 17 years old. He was then at the height of his fame. He was 35 when he wrote ‘The Magic Flute’ and died shortly afterwards. Dutch conductor Ton Koopman presents a programme that traces the stages of the composer's life. Russian soprano Julia Lezhneva performs the solo parts.
