The ghost of a woman who died after an avalanche returns to live with her husband, who has not been able to overcome her death.

In the process, he must face ghosts from his painful past.

Barbara Wong interviews HK women (of all ages (even 4 year olds), all walks of life, all sexual preferences, singles, wives, mistresses, prostitutes) with an all women crew and gets some wild and frank responses. The documentary is bold, honest, funny and touching. Highly recommended to any man who wants to understand women better and any woman who wants a fun girls' night out.

Gillian and Charlene, as usual, play a couple of mis-matched partners who come under the tutelage of the slightly nutty and love-sick Black Rose, a former kung fu-fighting super-hero who grooms them for a life of fighting crime. Ekin Cheng plays a dim-witted cab driver who wears a Robin costume and becomes Charlene's love interest. There is a bit of "comedy" as Rose confuses Ekin with her former lover and Gillian become jealous. A lot of time is wasted with this Three's Company-style shtick until eventually, some shred of a conflict comes forward, as the girls must battle a former protege of Rose who has taken to kidnapping to pay the bills.

A bunch of teens launch a quirky new business: Happy Funeral. It’s their out‑of‑the‑box scheme to make fast money. Everything changes when their landlady is diagnosed with cancer and runs out of time. Only then do they grasp the real essence of life and death, and learn how to host joyful funerals with genuine reverence.

A generic romantic comedy for Hong Kong audiences that's successful for what it is. Director Barbara Wong shelves any pretension or undue meaning - which is good news where Wong is concerned.
