I Can't Get Started

Home is an award winning short film collaboration between poet Tariro Mavondo and filmmaker Charles Williams about the refugee crisis and migrant experience.

An adolescent boy attempts to untangle his memories of a mysterious infestation, the unravelling of his father, and the little creatures inside us all.

After being transferred from juvenile to adult prison, Mel Blight is taken under the wing of both Mark Shepard, Australia’s most despised criminal, and Warren Murfett, a soon to be paroled inmate. As a paternal triangle grows between them, we see that even the worst of men have a little bit of good inside that will be their undoing.

After another of their fights, rival brothers are forced to wait at a country train station en route to their Father's. Their mother tells them the next time she has to intervene in their in-fighting, there had better be blood.
