Kevin is an Irish Moss farmer committed to his traditional way of doing things at the expense of a more lucrative life for himself and his pregnant wife. When he finds a bag of money washed up on the shores of Prince Edward Island, his decision to keep it secret turns his quaint fishing village into a growing crime scene as the money’s owners come calling. Adapted from Adam Perry's award-winning short film A Blessing from the Sea.

When a boat-full of money is discovered by two Irish Moss harvesters, their decision to keep it leads them down a dark and violent path.

Hughie Hackett (Robbie Carruthers) has spent his life doing as little as possible without actually doing nothing at all, squandering his potential. Frustrated that his Uncle Angus (Daniel Lillford), known as the best Hackett fisherman in town, a reputation secured by sabotaging his competition, is about to sell off the family fishing company, Hughie forms a misguided plan to pretend that a simple-minded man is his long-lost brother, the key to his father's will.
