Purification Session: Tarot

The movie 'Family Matter' focuses on the communication problems between two white-collar brothers and their parents. It deals with the consequences of the preference of video calls to face-to-face meetings brought to our daily lives by technological possibilities, and the process of this preference leading to the disinformation of family structure, internal communication of family members and social values.

Two couples end up involved in drug trafficking between the Turkish and Irish mafias. After being chased by a hitman, each one will have to choose between the love of their life or money.

Three sociology students go to a remote village to investigate an exorcism ritual that resulted in the death of a young girl named Perihan years ago. The young people begin their research under the guidance of Hasan, the only person willing to help them, and Hanife, a woman who provides them with misleading information. However, their research soon takes a dangerous, spiritual, and bloody turn. As time passes, the group finds themselves trapped in a terrifying nightmare.

After working at a factory for years, Cevdet finds himself facing a profound sense of emptiness upon retirement. In an attempt to cope with the uncertainty in his life, he clings tightly to his old factory routine and obsessively continues to record every detail around him in the "Ledger" he brought home from work. However, taking in his late neighbor’s dog introduces a new kind of chaos into his life—one that cannot be confined to the lines of a notebook or controlled. Although Cevdet tries to control the dog, its disobedient nature forces him to confront his own limitations.

Ragıp, a fine arts graduate, is deceived by the older painter Feridun with the promise of art. He gets involved in human trafficking in France and gets out of this business years later. 25 years later, he comes back to Turkey and aims to open a workshop and enter the market in order to practice his main profession as a painter. On the one hand, he started to give painting lessons. Since he lost all his human feelings during the period he was trafficking in human beings, he wants to recapture them through art. On the other hand, the schizophrenia he tries to escape from increases and makes his daily life unbearable. Ragıp keeps the trainees he teaches and the people he does not want in his life in the basement and starts to use them as painting material.

Nilgün, who is in the process of getting married, should not get married because her family was haunted by a jinn three generations ago. However, Nilgün sees such events as superstition and does not listen to what is said to her and gets married. Before long, Nilgün's life turns into a nightmare. Nilgün and her family find themselves on a mystical and dangerous journey after the events that have been experienced, convinced by the advice of Cennet, an old magician, that someone nicknamed 'Blind Hodja' intervenes in the situation.
