A presenter takes you on a journey through time about the influence of media technological developments on the American sitcom genre.

Lisa's brother, medic doctor Joe, develops a potion to travel to alternate dimensions. They go looking for their sister Nina, whom they lost in their own dimension. However, they must be careful, as they are not allowed to change anything in alternate worlds. When Lisa risks everything to bring Nina to their world, everything threatens to collapse.
