When Sophie's son, Garrett, develops a mysterious illness, she embarks on a search for answers. This leads her into the controversial world of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) where a sociopolitical battle rages between organic farmers and big biotech corporations. As her desperation grows, so too does her quest for knowledge. And the deeper she goes, a more heightened sense of danger develops that preys on her state of mind, as she attempts to discover the root cause of her son's illness.

'Breaking Upwards' explores a young, real-life New York couple who, four years in and battling codependency, decide to intricately strategize their own break up. Based on an actual experiment devised by director/actor Daryl Wein and actress Zoe Lister-Jones, the film loosely interprets a year in their lives exploring alternatives to monogamy, and the madness that ensues. An uncensored look at young love, lust, and the pangs of codependency, 'Breaking Upwards' follows its characters as they navigate each others' emotions across the city they love. It begs the question: is it ever possible to grow apart together?

Tommy and EJ are brothers with nothing in common. Tommy is a straight A student who desperately wants to be cool and EJ is a former high school legend living at home, wasting away in middle management in GE's innovation lab with dreams of becoming the next Mark Zuckerberg. When Tommy and EJ's parents leave town for their second honeymoon, the boys join forces to throw a legendary high school party with hopes of making Tommy the king of his class and EJ the next great app developer.

The story of Rachel, a young woman in her early 20s who lives with her Nigerian uncle (Danny Glover) and his American wife (Edythe Davis). When her aunt has had enough of her niece's free-spirited lifestyle, she kicks Rachel out of the house. Rachel is left to figure it out on her own, but quickly runs into Skeeter, a washed-up movie star whose life is surprisingly similar to hers. Together, they decide to "play a part" in hopes of both getting what they need.
