The life of lawyer Roxane turns upside down when her husband Samuel is accused of rape. She is forced to return to her underprivileged childhood town, where she must defend the local criminals she once fled.

This free-form film is a self-portrait, which revisits more than 40 years of the author’s filmography and questions the major stations of his life, while capturing the political tremors of the time.

After witnessing the harrowing November 13, 2015 terrorist attacks, Christelle "Chris" Blandin quickly latches onto a community of survivors.
