The Burden of Guilt

Maddy, a diner waitress who feels stuck in her hometown, gets a chance to leave her life behind and move to Los Angeles with her brother, but she'll have to decide between her dreams of a better life for herself and the man she loves.

Rachel, a writing student in Los Angeles, finds her life disrupted when she receives news of her grandmother’s passing. At the encouragement of a trusted professor, she goes home to process the family’s trauma through her writing. Her return has both healing and painful revelations: a romantic rekindling with an old love interest and, most notably, the challenge of helping her brother as he struggles with issues of mental health and addiction.

Art and some of his closest friends help track down his long-lost family lineage. When they find his Great-Grandpa Oswald’s abandoned home, they end up getting transported to a place lost in time, shrouded by dark Hollywood Magic. The group finds they are not alone when Oswald’s come-to-life cartoon Rabbit, a dark entity, decides their lives belong to it. Art and his friends must work together to escape their magical prison before the Rabbit gets to them first.

Camilla and her close friends Tiffany and Derrick find themselves falling down a horrific rabbit hole of the supernatural when a strange man shows up at her residence with a very ominous offer.

Dirk, a newbie hitman, has just been given his first big assignment: killing Kenny, a high-ranking pharmaceutical executive who is supposedly responsible for the deaths of hundreds of people. To get Kenny alone, Dirk has found his profile on Grindr and is meeting up with him now under the guise of taking him out on a date. Dirk invites Kenny to join him for dinner in the private room of a fancy restaurant. As Dirk continues to maintain the charade of dating Kenny, he discovers that his target isn’t anything like the cold, unfeeling monster that he was led to expect. He’s shy, awkward, and seems to be a truly kind person, despite what he does for a living. Dirk relates to Kenny’s life story immensely and begins to feel a legitimate spark between them. Suddenly, he has to decide between carrying out his mission and pursuing a relationship with the man he’s been ordered to kill. Little does Dirk know that Kenny has secrets of his own– and he might just get Dirk’s heart to melt.
