The Man on Fire

An experimental anthology about mental turmoil. Nine subversive perspectives from young filmmakers from around the world who lament over depression, alienation, loneliness, and heartbreak as universal experiences.

In a world where loneliness has become ordinary and warmth is something humans buy with money, the protagonist lives a life that does not move forward. Instead of solving the problems that weigh on him, he chooses ignorance and quiet laziness. One evening after work, he steps into a Cuddle Café. What happens next becomes the story.

In the darkest hour even a call can summon light

A man trapped in the monotony of a soul-draining 9-to-5 work-from-home job finds himself increasingly burdened by an unshakable sense of dissatisfaction. Haunted by vivid dreams that echo his unfulfilled passion for filmmaking, he struggles to reconcile his reality with the calling of his creative spirit. As the weight of his suppressed desires becomes unbearable, he faces a life-altering choice that could redefine his future
