Six struggling Hollywood hopefuls team up for the ultimate comeback by plotting to steal the Oscar statuettes from the crooked producer who crushed their dreams.

Mexican aviation exec Renato is shocked to learn that he has an American half-brother he never knew about: free-spirited Asher. They are forced on a road trip together, tracing the path their father took from Mexico to the U.S.

On the Lot is a short-lived reality show competition for filmmaking, produced by Steven Spielberg and Mark Burnett. The show, which aired on Fox, featured filmmakers competing in weekly elimination competitions, with the ultimate prize of a million-dollar development deal at DreamWorks.
