"Narrative Information is an exhibition of four of my short story computer-video sculptures. Abortion, language, relationships, and war are my subject matter. I endeavor to get the viewer involved in my interplay between the simple and the complex, between the child and adult narrative viewpoints, and between the image and the technology that produces it all wrapped up in my simmering dark humor." -CFG

As I Said is a programmed piece of computer-generated art by Copper Giloth and Mimi Shevitz.

Our documentary traces the artist Robert Mallary’s career from his early interest in art and technology in the 1940’s through his pioneering work with mainframe computers, vector graphics, and computer sculpture in the 1960’s and early 70’s to his later collage work using a personal computer system. This documentary explores Mallary’s concept of a “systems” approach to art in which he integrates the physical process of assemblage with electronic process of computer graphics. Robert Mallary was born December 2, 1917 and died February 10, 1997.

"I entered the field of computer graphics in 1978; over the next 16 years I had the opportunity to observe how women’s bodies were imaged and constructed in computer graphics in the areas of science, engineering, visualization, advertising, entertainment, and art. I was always bothered by the stereotypical images of women and how these scientists and researchers used computer generated women’s bodies to sell products or demonstrate a new feature in computer graphics." -CFG
