Memories of Stone Faces

The life of Abdon Pamich: from his exodus from Fiume, a border town overwhelmed by post-war events, to his rise in athletics crowned with Olympic gold. The tough training and sacrifices of a man who, even before learning to walk, had to learn to resist.

The "requerimiento" was a declaration by the Spanish monarchy of Castile’s divine right to take possession of the New World’s territories and to subjugate, exploit and, if necessary, fight the native inhabitants. This film explores the aesthetics of a mythological time and its archetypical creatures and materialities. Following the trajectories of a serpent and the fragment of a meteorite, "Requerimiento" develops an interwoven narration questioning human and nonhuman alterities in different epochs and cultures.

The Depth Beneath, The Height Above consists in an exploration of the high alpine region of Robiei, southern Switzerland. Conceived as a sensory piece, the film particularly focuses on the existing relationships between the human, animal, infrastructural and natural elements that compose Robiei's specific landscape.

A post-apocalyptic, eco-fiction short film portrying two construction workers wandering in a “zone” where inner and outer territories intertwine. In a constant search for traces, they are increasingly confronted with a universe that over days and nights becomes overwhelming.
