The drama four-episode musical marked the return to Rai militancy after years of Fininvest for Carmen Russo and the comic duo Franco and Ciccio . The program also included pure variety segments, animated inserts and ballets.

A young dare-devil goes to Rome in search of fortune, with the blessings and money of his loving aunts. While in the city, he is a victim of a series of mishaps. His aunts hear about a man of the same name who is a candidate for Parliament; they think that he is their nephew and organize a series of celebrations. So, the youngster gets the idea of trying to replace the real candidate, but gets found out. The aunts forgive him.

Assunta, a commoner of Naples, is scarred by her lover Michele for jealousy.

Tonino, a young, shy salesman, engaged to his neighbor Pallina, is a cinema enthusiast. He has written a film script and dreams of seeing it made on the big screen.

In this 1972 film, Maria Carta, considered one of the most beautiful voices in the folk music scene and one of the most gifted artists in Sardinia, interacts with the actor Riccardo Cucciolla. Maria Carta recites verses and sings songs of the Sardinian tradition and conveys in her art the essential lines of Sardinian identity and culture.

Stryx was an Italian TV series, aired in 1978 on Rai Due. Stryx thematically referred to Hell, devils and underworld. The scenography featured elements resembling Middle Ages-like gloomy castles and caves. The show featured acting as well as musical performances from such artists as Amanda Lear, Asha Puthli, Grace Jones, Patty Pravo, Mia Martini, Angelo Branduardi and The Rockets.
