The Piano Lesson

Seventeen-year-olds Miku and Elias find themselves, and each other, during a summer in the Finnish countryside.

The youth working group will produce a short film, from scriptwriting to post-production, during the summer and August. They will be introduced to the different aspects of filmmaking and will be assisted by a mentor and a mentor philosopher. The work will be carried out in the Helsinki metropolitan area, and the production headquarters will be at the Hapessa Youth Activity Center in Sörnäinen.

Seriously ill Mikael, who is living his last days, needs acceptance and lures young men into his apartment with a fake profile. When Paul arrives and shows unexpected warmth towards him, Mikael's world begins to collapse.
