Instructions for Polygamy addresses adult comedy from taboos and current themes: Pregnancy as a product of consumption, virtual links as affective delivery, sex toys as a possibility of exploring one's own enjoyment; plus tensions between hedonism, responsibility or individual interaction, marriage. Teresa is an orphan who longs to live her own love story. She is a boarding school for minors, and the only thing she enjoys is watching the soap opera "Little love." One day the television breaks and Teresa makes the decision to escape.

"Uno" ("One") enjoys his loneliness, but when he falls in love with "Una" ("She") and loses her, he realizes he needs her and tries to get her back.

A film director sets out to find locations for his new film. With that goal in mind, he embarks on a journey to the northwest of Santa Fe, the area where his father filmed his debut 45 years earlier and where he intends to make the one he's currently working on.
