In 1991, with the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the fishing boat where Viktor works is abandoned in Mar del Plata. With no direction and no nation, the sailor undertakes the challenge of surviving in a strange country. Twenty years later, without having returned to his homeland and the family he left behind, he continues to fight to survive in exile.
