It is no Dream

Antonia is stuck in her everyday life. She oversleeps, procrastinates and searches the internet for a happy life. Spontaneously, she decides to give structure to her existence and asks her fling for a steady relationship.

A new home, a promotion, a loving partner. Anna has everything she could wish for, and yet, the gradual inevitability of things begins to create a pressure within her that she can no longer bear. But where does Anna escape to when her life seems pretty much complete? Into housing complexes that swallow their residents like a beehive? Into labyrinthine furniture stores filled with endless room displays? Or into the life of a missing woman who looks just like her and works at an IKEA store?

Breakthroughs don’t come easy. Especially for up-and-coming actress Anna. Rejected from her most recent audition, Anna returns home to find that her dad has already made other plans for her life. Her last chance: playing the victim in training exercises for the local fire department. Whether she is rescued from car wrecks or placed under toppled trees, Anna gives it everything she’s got, because a job at the local bank seems utterly unthinkable.
