Fool For Love

Tanyabi, a pretty damsel, lived in Chakma village on the bank of rivulet Chengi. She was deeply in love with a poor young man, Punang chan. But, her parents get her married to a rich old man in a distant village. The river Chengi, was so grief-stricken, that it changed its course by nearly one kilometre and the old dried up course was gradually filled up the grieving Tanyabi’s tears and thus a lake was formed, where she drowned herself to death. The Chakmas sing of it as a folk tale even today.

Anu, a dreamy-eyed and middle-class girl, falls in love with Sugawto, a political activist, who is arrested. After his release Anu realizes that she is an entity to him. Will she leave indifferent Sugawto?

Pradip meets Sujata, a young lady who leaves her house after falling out with her elder sister. The duos go for the adventure and subsequently involve with a series of mysterious incidents.

After being rescued by a gangster, Sreelekha gets married to him hoping for a happily married life. However, things take a turn for the worse.
