Twelfth Night from Shakespeare's Globe

When Professor Goodman, arch-sceptic out to debunk the paranormal, embarks on an investigation of three apparent hauntings – as recounted by a night-watchman, a teenage boy, and a businessman awaiting his first child – Goodman finds himself at the outer limits of rationality, and fast running out of explanations.

Four love-drunk teens, escaped from the confines of an oppressive regime, caught in a dispute of increasingly magical proportions. A posse of wannabe actors, determined to put on a play against the odds. The Fairy Queen and King at war, and one wild spirit hell-bent on causing as much havoc as possible. What could possibly go wrong? Our colourful, chaotic and 'utterly joyous' (Time Out) production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream was praised by critics and audiences alike in both 2019 and 2021.

The show is scheduled to be performed at PARCO Theatre in October 2026! (Performances also scheduled in Osaka, Fukuoka, Aichi, Okayama, and Miyazaki in November-December)

They were a great inspiration to Shakespeare and over 2000 years later, are reimagined for our world now. Expect anarchy, shape shifting and a burning chariot of fire.
