More than a century ago the holocaust blackened the entire world. Millions of people were killed like animals by the tyrant of the world. A year later, this dark chapter of humanity strikes the world again. But now it is sponsored by the state. The court of the state takes the decision to eliminate the people who are not required for the state. In the background of this transformation, a love story is developed between Raj and Nila. Raj is an industrialist. And Nila is the daughter of a farmer.

Dr. Bezbarua is a 1969 Assamese language thriller film, the first film of this genre in the language, directed by Brajen Barua and produced by Rangghar Cine Productions.

Sanjay initially refuses to marry Durga, but when his mother threatens to cut him off from the family will he relents. Thus, Durga marries Sanjay and looks forward to her new life. From day one, Durga is subjected to physical and mental harm by her husband.

Rainbow Fields is an Assamese movie starring Dipannita Sharma and Victor Banerjee in prominent roles. The movie also stars Nakul Vaid, Naved Aslam, Nipon Goswami and Panchi Bora. It is a drama directed by Bidyut Kotoky with Anurag Saikia as musician, forming part of the crew.

Tumi Aahibaane is an Assamese language musical romance film directed by Prerana Barbarooah and jointly produced by ASFFDC & Bibi Devi Barbarooah under the banner of Prerana Creations. The film stars Ravi Sarma and Barsha Rani Bishaya in lead role and Gunjan Bhardwaj and Moonmi Phukan in Supporting role. In a film, Nibir is a music director who leaves the city and returns to his village, where he meets his childhood friend, Birina, and begins to fall in love.

In a society where the recognition of women goes no more than the boundaries of bearing a child, Xuntora finds herself caught in a strong cyclical struggle. After crossing over her childhood, she is married off to a man who thought wealthy, is crude and egoistic. It is during this phase of womanhood does she realise how restricted she is for being a woman. However, her husband is killed for taking the virginity of a girl from the tea community. She returns to her maternal house with her son and sees herself in a similar situation as her grandmother. Her every action from here on is to create a significant identity for herself and withstand all the hurdles that blow her way.
