Apocalypse now re-interpreted

A film about using nature as a way to deal, cope and escape depression, a sense of melancholy and loss clouds over the film.

A mentally unstable teen transforms himself into a clown to deal with and mask his own disturbing, nihilistic worldview and deteriorating mental health. the further the film continues, the more prominent his descent into madness becomes.

Taking the location of Hastings and creating a gothic portrait of the town.
