A group of friends decide to watch The Oscars together.

When her screenplay is critiqued in class, Gabriela, a film student, tries to get her mother to acknowledge that the causes of her premature downfall lie in her childhood.

Miguel wakes up and remembers he has a date later that day. Between taking care of his plants, feeding his cat and looking for what to wear, he starts doubting if its a good idea to go or stay at home.
