Tarzan in the City

A pair of female devils (Devi Ivonne, Tanty Noriesta) kidnap men, rape and kill them. Their teacher who gave a warning, was killed. Meanwhile, the Trident Golden Spear, a royal heirloom, was stolen by Dewa Thief (Tanaka) on orders from Rana Blambang (K. Supranto), the son of a concubine who wanted to seize the throne. The God of Thieves kept the original, and the fake was handed over. His dream of becoming king by owning the heirloom was dashed, because a pair of female devils stole it. Then came Wiro Sableng (Tonny Hidayat) to fix all the problems, return the heirloom to the Palace, then wander again.

Jaka Swara witnesses the slaughter of his parents by John Da Costa’s gang, a Portuguese who still controls a remote area. Jaka Swara painstakingly learns martial arts to seek revenge. When Fatma, is held captive by Da Costa, it spurs Jaka into action. Rhoma Irama’s rôle as Jaka is somewhat different from his norm due to the nature of the action film. He sings five songs for the romantic scenes.

Ki Jabat, the lord of a forbidden jungle, adopts a son he names Sembara. The major success achieved by dangdut musician, Rhoma Irama, makes his siblings, Deddy and Herry, want to follow their brother’s footsteps. Coincidentally, the two brothers have twin girlfriends, Ela and Eli. The love of the two couples is so deep that when the parents of Ela and Eli want to match one of the twins to another man, they refuse. For Deddy, the challenge does not only come from Eli’s parents, but also from someone attracted to Eli. It hurts Deddy to witness Herry holding the hand of his girlfriend, Eli. Then Rhoma steps in to resolve the problem of his brothers.

Tarmina is a selfish wife. She asks Hadi for a divorce after he goes bankrupt. She leaves him and daughter, Juriah, and remarries a tycoon. In desperation, Tarmina tries to return to them. But she realizes that she has committed so many wrongs to her husband and child. Instead, she ends her life by plunging into the river.

Oni is an orphan who is born blind. She is adopted by a cart puller. Despite of his blindness, Oni can cure diseases. So when her adopting parent dies, someone else takes care of her. But ever since her village is pillaged Oni lives on as a wanderer.

A baby is saved by Eyang Sinto Gendeng (Cherry Ivonne), because his parents were killed by Mahesabirawa (Yan Bastian), who is angry that his girlfriend is marrying someone else. The baby is trained in martial arts and given a powerful weapon, in the form of an axe. His name is Wiro Sableng (Tonny Hidayat). Then he looks for his father's killer who is rumored to be dead. Only his men led by Kalingundil (Gino Makasutji) are left. Meanwhile, four men, known as the Four Beards from Sanggreng Cave, are also looking for Kalingundil for revenge. So there was a fight between the three parties. Wiro Sableng wins, but his girlfriend, Nilamsuri (Susan Aryani), Kalingundil's daughter, dies.

A war breaks out between two martial arts organizations.
