In a small italian town everyone's waiting for the event of the year: the living chess game with a near town.

Four friends in their 40s find out a deceased old flame of theirs had a child, conceived with one of them during an Erasmus (EU student exchange program) in Portugal 20 years earlier. They embark on a journey in search of the offspring, while waiting for the DNA results to find out which one is the father.

Sofia and her two sons, Ricky and Alice, lead a disenchanted life amid the many difficulties of everyday life, but for the Rovati family this will be an extraordinary Christmas. Their unexpected participation in the following reality Christmas Show, will lead them to live overwhelming situations and the arrival of the mysterious neighbor, the charming Pierre, will return to make Sofia’s heart beat.

A short filmed mostly in Sarandi'. Central to the film is the August 11, 1963 fire at the power plant in Dock Sud and the killing of a firefighter en route to the fire by a military unit, in the context of the conflict between the military factions of the Azules and the Colorados.
