Friday, November 7, 2025, marks the fiftieth anniversary of the devastating explosion at the chemical company DSM in the Limburg town of Beek. Kefah Allush takes viewers back to this momentous day. The disaster is depicted through eyewitness accounts, personal memories, and impressive visualizations.

Peter Westerveld, artist and visionary, doesn’t want institutions to resolve the problems linked to earth’s problems. Growing up in Africa, he witnessed the advance of the desert and dedicated himself to finding solutions for the ongoing erosion and desertification of the land. The film follows Peter and the NGO working with him to realise his project; to build contour trenches that capture and store rain water under the surface and replenish the desert land.

How do you interpret the Ten Commandments today? For a long time, these commandments guided our thoughts and actions, but how do people relate to these rules, to each other, and to today's complex society? Ten filmmakers of varying ages, backgrounds, and experience have explored the deeper meaning of these ancient rules. In the documentaries, they are contrasted with today's multicultural, globalized, and secularized world. A series of ten highly diverse documentaries, each addressing one commandment in its own unique way. The films explore contemporary themes such as identity, friendship, addiction, postcolonialism, morality, and the human impact on nature.
