A married couple welcomes young Genaro into their home through adoption. Upon his arrival, he meets his new siblings, Nuria and Samuel. This film unfolds several stories from the lives and perceptions of three families of those who disappeared during the last military dictatorship, reflecting the unique interweaving of these relatives' personal relationships, as a reflection of the social complexities established by the process of state terrorism that occurred from 1976 to the present.

Luciano lives with his mother and younger sister in a low-income neighborhood in the Argentine city of Rosario. He studies and helps with the housework. Since money is always short, he takes any temporary work he can get to support his family, while he looks for a steady job.
