This is the film Crete in Flames, with some changes made to exploit a true story – it is about the kidnapping of Tasoula Vardinoyannis by Yannis Kefalogiannis –, a story that had shocked and fascinated the entire Greek nation, and had received widespread publicity. The Battle of Crete and the legendary resistance of the brave Cretan people against the German occupiers who invaded the island en masse by air in 1942.

An immigrant in Germany works hard to support his father and sister, who live in Greece. When he is forced to return home, he discovers that he has no money because the bank where he kept his savings has gone bankrupt. So he returns hidden in a refrigerated truck and arrives frozen, which starts a battle between refrigerator advertisers over who will convince him to advertise their refrigerators.

A girl from the countryside comes to Athens, stays at her aunt's house and falls madly in love with a radio technician. She becomes a popular folk song star, but without hesitation sacrifices her career for the sake of love and marital duties.

Melpomene is working as economies of wealthy bachelors Charalambous many years. At some point they realize that the years have passed and it has not done anything important for yourself and thus decide to begin coming with Theodore who are butchers. Polydoros Lagos is a janitor in an ordinary Athens' block in the 1960s who's struggling to serve as many of the building's residents as possible in order to save some money to help his six sisters (and his aunt) get married, since this is the only way he can finally get married too.

A countryman arrives in Athens to make it big and becomes a millionaire overnight. However, a duo of swindlers has set their sights on getting their hands on his fortune. Will he discover the hard way that more money means more problems?

Adapted from Nikos Foskolos’ theatrical play. On a terribly stormy night, in a secluded hotel, the owner, Brigadier Norton, is murdered. Prime suspects: his daughter Elena, his second wife Liza, Liza’s niece and her fiancé, Norton’s physician, and the hotel staff. Inspector Fox and his assistant, policeman Petridis, are assigned the investigation of the crime. While the suspects’ questioning is under way, some more people arrive at the hotel: detective Tilemachos Christofis with his assistant Aliki, and lieutenant Karalis, a sworn enemy of the victim, complicating things even more.

Greek-American Peter Papas, vacationing with his wife in Greece, crashes into a taxi driver and discovers that the driver is his old friend Meletis, who is married and the father of six children. In addition, his young wife, Marika, left him to follow a young man, taking their daughter Lisa with her. Peter and Meletis search for Mr. Stamatis, who is now a mental wreck, has become a drunkard and wanders around entertaining young children.

Anna, who lives with her aunt, is afraid that Stratos, the man she loves, is cheating on her with another woman. She decides to leave for America, where she will spend a year with another aunt. When she returns to Athens, her aunt will try to marry her off to a rich young man, but she is still in love with Stratos.

The Tasia chasing the impostor Lepoura Vangelis arrives with hitchhiking in Athens. Gaining confidence wholesaler Kyriacou Bolore and taken to his house as a maid. Two young people (Christina Silva and Takis Varlamos), living in a provincial town, fall in love with each other and are stolen. After a wild chase, the girl returns pregnant to her father (Theodoros Moridis), who removes the newborn, saying that she died in childbirth. The girl leaves for Athens where she marries a businessman (Lambros Konstantaras), but loses her eyesight in an accident. Her father, remorseful, investigates and discovers the child (Takis Vidos) and the woman, because of unspeakable joy, regains her sight.

A bankrupt cosmopolitan arrives with his daughter in Lagonisi, with the aim of finding a rich groom to guarantee financially.
