An abstract dining room is the setting for Scottish Ballet’s largest film yet. Tremble stars 26 Scottish Ballet dancers and has been co-choreographed and directed by Jessica Wright and Morgann Runacre-Temple, set to Anna Meredith’s brassy track ‘Nautilus’.

Juliet awakens from a fever dream. How did we get here? The lines between hallucination and memory blur as cinema and dance collide in a kaleidoscopic journey of queer belonging, defiance, and self-discovery. A vivid retelling of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet brought to life by Scottish Ballet.

An Evening with Taglioni is based on a true story. When legendary ballerina Marie Taglioni, the first woman to ever go 'en pointe' retired, her pointe shoes were bought by a fan, cooked at a lavish dinner party and served to 35 guests.

The Secret Theatre features the choreography of Scottish Ballet founder Peter Darrell and CEO/Artistic Director Christopher Hampson, co-directed for the screen by Jess & Morgs. With set and costumes designed by Lez Brotherston; music by Rimsky-Korsakov and Tchaikovsky recorded live by the Scottish Ballet Orchestra; new additional composition by Frank Moon; and performances from the full Scottish Ballet company; this Christmas special is an unforgettable adventure for all the family.
