The Abduction of Balthazar Sponge (Polish: Porwanie Baltazara Gąbki) is a Polish-language fantasy animated series produced by Studio Filmów Rysunkowych from 1969 to 1970, that was based on 1965 children's book Porwanie Baltazara Gąbki by Stanisław Pagaczewski. The series had 1 season consisting of 13 episodes, each lasting from 6 to 7 minutes. The episodes were directed by Władysław Nehrebecki, Alfred Ledwig, Edward Wątor, Józef Byrdy, Bronisław Zeman, Wacław Wajser, and Stanisław Dülz, while the scrips were written by Zofia Olak and Leszek Mech. The series had a sequel ,Wyprawa profesora Gąbki, that was produced from 1978 to 1980.

The Animated Series' main protagonist is Pampalini - a brave but clumsy Animal Hunter who is determined to catch some wild beasts (or not so much). Although he hasn't caught a single one yet he's still trying to do so. Maybe next time...

An anthology of 8 and ¾ macabre and absurd jokes. Witty souls of the dead, genocidal animals, lethal sport performances, medical appointments. Each life ends with death, though in different ways.

Angels descend from heaven in order to protect their charges. When the day is over, they return to heaven, where they are guarded by a heavenly shepherd, just like sheep.

A heavy smoker finds different ways to smoke all the time: while sleeping, in the shower, while shaving. People around the protagonist smoke too. His wife is the only exception. She talks about his health, wallet, and smell.

A little, green guy relaxes in the park. He is joined by a pink lad and he starts to behave more and more aggressively. The green guy starts to enjoy the revenge. Violence breeds violence, even when mild creatures are concerned.

Two diplomats, Mr. X and Mr. Y, enter public negotiations in the interior of a palace. The audience observes the exchange of animated blows and dodges.
