The Talafì is a fishing boat that cannot fish. A place crushed by the unstoppable noise of its engine, of its work. On board, three sailors seek space for their desires. But on the Talafì, humanity does not exist, there are only those who abuse and those who are abused.

Francesco and Maurizio, two young gardeners with no ambitions and an uncertain future, are the only witnesses to an apparently unmotivated murder that disrupts the social dynamics of an otherwise respectable City.

In a future without imagination, storytelling means recycling the past. A vintage tutorial, narrated by an AI, guides creators in combining fragments of old narratives, revealing that creation is construction, not invention.

The short film follows the latest research of the dance collective Dogs Eat Wind. Through the bodies of the performers the film explores, the desire for connection and the invisible barriers that often prevent it. At its core is the question that drives the choreographic project: what remains of us in the other when distance is no longer just a theme, but the condition from which the work itself is created?
