This is the story of Madeleine, who leaves France for Africa, on a whim, with her daughter Félicie. This is the story of Abdou, who comes from a small village in Niger, and becomes their servant. This story takes place just after Independence. It is the story of my family.

Simone lives and works in a shabby camping, while taking care of her old cantankerous mother. One morning, 15 years old Joe arrives there, well decided to get to know them.

Summer 2013, Ariège, a young woman disappears. Her car is found in a high mountain parking lot, and an investigation follows for five years. The case was finally closed due to a lack of conclusive results. Ten years later, amid silence and against the backdrop of oblivion, some continue to search. This film tells their story. Through the relationships that unite and divide them, a French news story experienced from the inside emerges.
