Lightning Atom

Kkoedol and the Bear play in the stars and end up on a crescent moon sailboat that takes them to a glass castle where rabbits live. While enjoying a festival in the castle, they meet the Golden Iron Man, who emits a mysterious light, and set out to save the Star of Hope, which has been captured by Satan.

The film adapts two episodes from the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West, focusing on the tales of the Yellow Wind Demon and the King of Spiritual Touch.

Sequel to the 1967 movie Hong Gildong. In the middle of the Yi Dynasty, when the government's national defense power was weakened and the people's livelihood was in ruin due to the actions of Tamgwan-ori, barbarians from the north began an invasion, putting the country's fortunes in jeopardy. Accordingly, Hong Jeong-seung, Hong Gil-dong's biological father and a member of the Left Council, organized the Hwalbin Party and recommended Hong Gil-dong, who had committed crimes against the country, to the king, and the king willingly appointed him as the vanguard of the Northern Expedition and sent him on a campaign. Hong Gil-dong fights bravely, defeats the barbarians, rescues his fiancée who was kidnapped by the barbarians, and returns home.

In the 21st century, the powerful nations of the Earth have launched into fierce competition over natural resources found on the newly discovered planet Gradioras. But each time a probe is launched to extract resources from Gradioras, monsters appear and threaten life on Earth. As Baeklim University professor Heinrich Park studies the monsters, he discovers that the monsters are receiving orders from someone through artificial brains which have been implanted in each monster. Professor Park develops a gamma ray in order to defeat the monsters, but Spectre, an international crime syndicate, has other plans. Directed by Yu-soo Yong, the film is a representative work from Korea's animation boom period.
