Inanimate Objects

The sun is setting as the day draws to an end. We follow two young women in a solitary room as they attempt to disappear into thin air by consuming Nectar: an oily sap extracted from a strange plant. We follow them through what could be their final hour before they vanish. Cease is an audiovisual poem.

Where does a dangerous idea come from? What do we do to those we hate in our inner lives? And where does unreleased anger go? Axel seeks a solution to his self-destructive pattern and embarks on a game with his colleague Cato. Together, they test the limits of violence and each other in an attempt at redemption.

The film follows Mats. A boy in his 20s with a life characterized by anxiety and paranoia. Troubled by a nightmare, he goes to visit his psychologist where he describes an unpleasant dream he has had; a nightmare in which he killed a wild animal.
