A celebration of The Cure. Robert Smith's unique songwriting talents meant that The Cure's long list of singles were always destined to break out of tortured students bedrooms and be embraced by a far wider audience. This archive collection of The Cure's performances on the BBC goes from the early days with A Forest through to hits like Lovecats, Friday I'm In Love, Close To Me and Boys Don't Cry, demonstrating why, in Britain and overseas, they enjoyed – or pretended not to enjoy – such huge success.

The Cure headlined and closed ⁠Rock Werchter 2026 on Sunday, July 5, 2026, with a grand, generous and intense concert performing a massive career-spanning set as the final act of the four-day festival in Werchter, Belgium. Since their first appearance at the Festivalpark in 1981, the iconic British band has played several legendary concerts in Werchter. Few bands manage to remain both relevant and beloved for nearly five decades. The Cure continues to reach and inspire generations.

The Cure performed an extra, historic opening day at the Pohoda Festival on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, marking their very first-ever live concert in Slovakia. Added as a special 4th day for the festival's 30th anniversary, opened with "Alone," followed by classics like "Pictures of You," "Lovesong," "A Forest," and "Endsong" Finished a massive encore block featuring "Lullaby," "Friday I'm in Love," and a closing rendition of "Boys Don't Cry"

The Cure close Isle Of Wight Festival 2026. The setlist doesn’t dip too deeply into Songs Of A Lost World - only adding the glacial sweep of Endsong to round off the main set - but a number of Cure classics are present and correct, including Pictures Of You, Lovesong, In Between Days and Just Like Heaven. The epic post-punk anthem A Forest hit hard as a beautiful sunset falls over Seaclose Park.

Songs of a Lost World is the fourteenth studio album by English rock band the Cure, released on 1 November 2024 via Fiction,  Lost Music, Universal, Polydor, and Capitol Records. It is the band's first release of new material in 16 years since the release of 4:13 Dream in 2008. All the songs on the album were composed solely by singer/guitarist Robert Smith, for the first time since the 1985 album The Head on the Door. It is also their first studio album to feature guitarist Reeves Gabrels. The record was released a day after Halloween at Smith's request. Released as a Bluray Audio with Dolby Atmos and PCM Stereo 96/24 sound.
