After falling in love with an extremely idealist youth Tajul, Shanu ignored her luxurious life and left her home town, leaving behind just a short note with her new address. Shimul, after a long time, could manage to find Shanu out in a corner of an old township with cue of that note wherein he invents a new proletarian Shanu Wherein Shanu and Tajul are giving their everything, every breath and working really hard to run the family in a conscientious way. We cannot see those struggling breath with bare eyes. We, probably, can elucidate these struggling breaths as precious love of life. The name of the prehistoric story of this breath is “Myth of Love”.

Set in 16th century Eastern Bengal, the film is inspired by the life of Chandrabati, Bengal`s first feminist poet. The story follows her falling in love with another poet, Jayananda, who later leaves her for another woman. The betrayal pushes Chandrabati to renounce marriage, confine herself inside a Shiva temple and start rewriting the Ramayana - an act which eventually led to her becoming a historic figure.

Shongram (struggle) is a romantic drama set during the 1971 liberation struggle of Bangladesh. A British Bengali on his death bed is interviewed by a daring London reporter, where four decades later, Karim is able to recall and finally share his past. We are transported to 1971, when Bangladesh was still East Pakistan and a young Karim (a Muslim) is in love with a beautiful Asha (a Hindu). The peaceful village life is suddenly interrupted by war and Karim must grow up fast to survive in an era where mass killings and abduction was common. He must also carry out his duty and revenge before he can finally search for Asha.
