Seth Laxmi Narayan and his wife had a son who was separated at an early age. The only clue they have is that he has a locket around his neck. When Laxmi Narayan passes away, he leaves behind a lot of money and wealth. His wife makes efforts to locate her long-lost son, with the help of her relative, Durjan Singh. Durjan Singh hires a local thug, Birju, and asks him to pose as the long-lost son, for a hefty price, to which he agrees. Mrs. Narayan welcomes Birju as her son, and accepts him, little knowing his agenda, and the evil scheme devised by Durjan Singh and his son.

Superintendent of Police Arun is a hardworking, honest and diligent police officer in Bombay. He has been assigned to lead the detail in charge of the state's Chief Minister's protection. Things do not go as planned, and the Chief Minister is killed. The police find evidence linking Arun with this killing, and have him arrested and imprisoned. Dr. Vijay Verma lives in a small town with his wife, Aarti, and a young daughter, Munni. Upon inquiring, he learns that his wife was jailed for killing their child, and is now earning a living as a prostitute, and is currently the mistress of Member of Parliament, Charandas.

Nicknamed as "Hitler", Jailer Siddhanth Kumar Sharma is feared and respected at work as well as at home where he lives with his wife, a former lawyer, Sheila; younger brother, Amar; two younger sisters and his son. He would like Amar to find employment for himself on his merit rather than use his contacts, but Amar is unable to secure any employment. Delhi-based CBI Captain Neetu Singh is instructed by Chief Sawant to investigate the assassination of Maharashtra's Chief Minister Satyaprakash. Her investigations will lead her to conclude that the killing was planned and carried out by Home Minister Bhavani Prasad Lala and Superintendent of Police Waghmare. She then meets with Fatima, and is told the story of the latter's son, Hussain, who was convicted for possession and supply of fire-arms and sentenced to five years in prison. She meets Hussain in prison and decides to assist him, but before she could do that she and her mother, Shanti, both end up on the defensive, when evidence surfaces that Neetu had hired a hit-man, Tatya, to kill Satyaprakash. The Judge hearing this incident finds her guilty and sentences her to prison.

Anju lives a wealthy lifestyle with her widowed dad, Dhanraj, on a privately owned island. She studies in a hostel, plays on the football team, but is known for getting into fights with other girls, rather then taking part in this sport. But before that could happen, six men men who had duped by Dhanraj several years ago, arrive on the island incognito, enlist the assistance of the island's native people, led by Heera, who have been oppressed by Dhanraj and Captain Ashok, to recover their loot and kill Dhanraj and Anju. It is here that Anju will find out that the reason Shekhar accompanied her was not because he loves her, but for quite some other unknown and devious reason.
