The narrative follows Princess Sukanya, the daughter of King Sharyati, who crosses paths with Chyavan, a young ascetic (tapasvi) with a vow to right a wrong done to the Ashvini Kumars by Indra. Due to the twists of destiny, Sukanya accidentally blinds and causes Chyavan to age into infirmity, marrying him in his broken state. Ravi Kumar, a popular actor, gets framed and accused of killing Mani Babu, a director. He goes on the run and tries to prove his innocence.

When soldier Deepak learns that his uncle Thakur has snatched his property, he threatens him to return his ancestral estate. However, things change when the former is accused of the latter's murder.

A penniless musician is unwittingly forced to trade places with a look-alike diamond merchant/thief causing a comedy of errors by everyone involved.
