Piero Bruno Hugo Fontana Bertani, known as Hugo del Carril (November 30, 1912 - August 13, 1989), was an Argentine film actor, film director and tango singer of the classic era. He began his career as a singer of tango choruses at the age of fifteen. He made his film debut as an actor in 1937 and in 1949 as a director.
