For Adriano, the main square of the village has long been the center of the world. Adriano felt surrounded, depressed, unable to escape his destiny. "No one can stop a man who travels with suicide on his lapel" Adriano repeated to Lisete, always to the point of exhaustion.

As the revolution arrives in April 25, 1974, the Colonel will remain true to their convictions although the poems have already influenced his own life.

What side is love on? Vera and Rodrigo are absolutely passionate about each other and get married, having João as the product of their love. A family by force... Paulo and Susana have been together for a few years now and decide to take the next step in their relationship by moving in together. But, as they're signing the deed to the house, her father, who was supposed to bring the check, ends up delivering the bad news that there is no money for the house, thus ending this young couple’s dream.
