Toe Yuen

Borrowing its title from a campaign raising awareness for the use of forced child labor in football stitching in Sialkot, Pakistan during mid-to-late 1990s, Toe Yuen's short is a social statement protesting the exploitation imposed by sports brands.

Three little insects are transported to a concrete city. A series of extraordinary micro-adventures forces them to explore themselves and helps to build their self-esteem, so they can finally get back home. They become much stronger and happier, are able to choose their own future.

In the late 19th century, Mack, a heroic outlaw who stole from the rich to give to the poor, was loved and respected by the people, but he had long been a difficult case for the Yard. With the help of Sherlock, detective Gordon Gorilla Riller and Carlson Fox finally managed to catch Mack at his daughter Katie's birthday party. But Sherlock was then reviled by the people for arresting their hero. Four years later, Mack fights with the notorious Scarface in prison, and then climbs over the wall to escape. While tracking down Mack, Sherlock discovers Mack's heart-breaking reason behind his escape, and decides to let him fulfill his final wish before he would voluntarily surrender to the police. However, Scarface suddenly appears and kidnaps Katie. Sherlock and Watson team up with Gordon Gorilla Riller and Carlson Fox for the rescue. A battle between life and death is unfolding.

As the animated version of Stephen Chow's 2008 hit comedy CJ7, CJ7: The Cartoon loosely adopts the original plot of how a father and a son accidentally pick up an alien named CJ7. The film has a newly developed story line during which CJ7 protects the environment and saves the earth.

To secure a better future, Mrs Mc sends her son McDull (who is a piglet attending kindergarten) to many different classes and she has also bought her grave on mortgage. Inspired by J K Rowling, Mrs Mc tries her hand at writing. At bedtime, she tells McDull the story she wrote although McDull keeps asking her to read him Harry Potter instead. The story she wrote is actually the story of McDull's father, McBing, Prince de la Bun

McDull is not the brightest kid on the block, but he continuously tries to do his best to please his mother. Still it seems he may not be destined for great things like she wishes, but McDull strives to try anyway.

The Greatest Detective takes on a Phantom, a Curse, and a world fallen to Pseudo-science.

A handful of Hong Kong filmmakers explore their feelings on the ten years since 1997 in A Decade of Love, an omnibus film premiering at the 2008 Hong Kong Summer International Film Festival. A Decade of Love crosses multiple genres for its nine segments, from comedy to drama to satire to fantasy, with each director utilizing different actors. Each segment runs roughly ten minutes, and each uses that time to share something unique, personal and precious about post-Handover Hong Kong life.
