Naky Sy Savane

The chief of an African village, who is called 'Demi Dieu' because after God he is the owner of all the things, already has five wives. But as this is not enough he decides to find himself a sixth wife so that he has one for every day of the week except on Sunday when he uses to relax.

Ousmane, a young Senegalese albino, and his mother Aïchata flee their homeland to escape the marginalization and death threats from local sorcerers. They embark on a perilous journey to Europe. Their desert crossing exposes them to constant dangers and the cruel indifference of unscrupulous individuals. At the heart of this odyssey, they discover the depth of the human soul, between compassion and cruelty, forging a path toward light despite the surrounding darkness.

Marked by years of prison, Djo, a parcel delivery man in the Paris suburbs, lives modestly with his mother and daughter. One day, an aunt who has just fled the Ivorian conflict arrives at their home with her three children. In a hurry, Djo manages to find them a place to live. But faced with the growing demand and with the prospect of offering a decent life to his daughter, Djo switches and becomes a sleep merchant.

Eugene, an idealistic young African farmer and musician, decides to leave his village and family momentarily to try out his luck in the city. He makes new friends there, who accompany him on his musical career. He also meets up with Kassi, a childhood friend who has become a prostitute, with whom a new, closer friendship begins. However, when she dies from AIDS, Eugene is confronted by the harsh reality that his spontaneity and innocence blocked out and decides to put his singing talents and fame as a singer to the service of fighting the disease of AIDS. Once back home in his village, the reunion with his wife and children make him realize that life and hope are more powerful than anything else.

When a woman shelters a group of girls from suffering female genital mutilation, she starts a conflict that tears her village apart.

Back to his hood in the North Side of Marseille, South of France, Kaleem accepts a job in construction. He reconnects with his best friend Rachad who wants to hire him as manager in his new sport center. Kaleem is training hard Krump and meets a mysterious greek architect: Marie.
