Francesco and Elena, Roberto and Flavia, Thomas and Virginia, make up a fixed and tight-knit company for three years now, they are all living in Rome and come from good families. Elena and Francesco are two twenty-five and to be married, Roberto and Flavia are twenty years and in love with the impetus of youth; Tommaso and Virginia are two singles that have in common the fact that they feel out of lace in the world. The union of these characters will be shocked by the death of Francesco as a result of a car accident, the loss of his friend upset the lives of everyone.

Two different criminal gangs are fighting each other. Not even the police seem to be able to stop the conflict in a Christmas Rome surrounded by drug dealing, corruption, violence and arrogance.

Giorgio and Marco are two close teenage friends and part of a baby gang: a group dedicated to petty crime: thefts, robberies, drug dealing, fights, all to afford an insane consumption of alcohol and drugs. The gang decides to broaden its range to prostitution, starting friends of the same age. The plan is to rob the customers just before they have sex, but to do so they need the right tools.

The two guys are admitted to hospital where they both confess the murder of their friend Angela. A brutal murder and devoid of logic that will lead investigators to suspect that the two killers were not alone. Investigators soon discover a reality completely unknown to them: that of Satanism.

Gian Maria and Marco, two boys from Rome's wealthy neighborhood, decide to rob a bank using a cutter because it isn't detected by the metal detector. They involve Antonio, the son of a tire dealer from the South, and Paola, who they caught pickpocketing a man, in the venture. After the success of the first robbery, which brings in eighty million, the boys get excited and decide to continue. The police have trouble identifying them because with their elegant way of moving they know how to blend in well with the bank customers. Everything goes well, but then Marco invites Manuela to a party after meeting her during a robbery. So Gian Maria, to avoid fatal mistakes, decides to commit an armed robbery.

Laura, 13, is a girl with a strong personality: she does everything to seem older. At school she falls in love with the art teacher, Stefano Malavasi. He, realizing the situation, tries to remedy it by staying as much as possible on the tracks of a correct student/teacher relationship. Laura, feeling rejected, takes revenge.
