Tasked with settling which clan will wield the cursed, all-powerful sword Tyrfing, they must broker peace (or chaos) while Brumund back home monitors the saga via their “Time-Phone.”

Diplomatix was Norway's entry at the Montreux Comedy Festival in 1985, represented by the comedy trio KLM consisting of Trond Kirkvaag, Knut Lystad and Lars Mjøen. They also wrote the script. Kent Nilssen was the director.

Brødrene Dal is a Norwegian comedy/sketch-comedy series by Norwegian humour trio KLM, that originally aired as four series in 1979, 1982, 1994 and 2005. A fifth adventure, originally performed on stage in 1997, was edited and released as a movie in 2010. The series bears many similarities to Monty Python's Flying Circus, as the three actors play nearly all the different roles in the series, often multiple roles in each episode. Usually, the series would have a main plot keeping the story and episodes together, but most of the content being semi-related or unrelated sketches. This is especially true for the first series Professor Drøvels Hemmelighet, where the story frequently diverges from the main plot for entire episodes, only to jump back to the plot in the last minute. In the other series, the story is more centered around the actual plot.

In 2002, Milla Weber’s infant son was abducted in Juárez. Desperate, she founded the “Finders” to locate missing people along the US–Mexico border. Years later, on a night search, she spots one of her son’s kidnappers and teams with outlaw James Díaz. As they unravel a child-smuggling ring turned organ-trafficking network, Milla and Díaz become the criminals’ next targets.

While digging for a meteor fragment containing Curium 82, a substance that can cure the common cold, the three brothers Dal finds a shining, diamond-like stone. Later, Roms Dal is visited by an alien in a space ship, and receives a ring containing blueprints to an unknown machine. The brothers decide to build the contraption, hoping to find out what it does. When Roms accidentaly triggers its mechanism using the stone, they are off on an exciting time-traveling adventure.

Following the events of the last episode of Mot i brøstet, Karl moves out of his old house and into a new apartment in downtown Oslo. There he gets acquainted with the chairman Ulf, the janitor Smestad and the cleaning maid Mrs. Frantzen. His sister Vigdis also comes to visit frequently.

On a dark and stormy night, the Dal Brothers are summoned to the King. He needs their help, for the future of the nation hangs in the balance. In the old 1905 Union Treaty with Sweden, the Swedes slipped in a seemingly insignificant clause: within 100 years, Norway must return King Charles XII’s gaiters, left behind at Fredriksten Fortress when he died there in 1718, or else the dissolution of the Union would be invalid. Now, just before the centenary of that dissolution, it turns out the gaiters were never returned, and, worse still, they’ve vanished without a trace.

Cutbacks in SAS allows the captain Odd Grenland and 2nd pilot Birger Wom get fired because they are too old. They buy a used aircraft with their own money, and together they start the company Senior Air.

«Ta sjansen» was a popular Norwegian TV show broadcast on NRK from 1983 to 2002. It was a light-hearted, annual summer event filmed outdoors at the Homenkollen ski jump in Oslo. The show featured contestants competing in two main types of humorous and often chaotic challenges: Homemade boats racing down a steep ramp into the water, and creative bicycles racing on floating docks. Participants often wore silly costumes and built wildly imaginative contraptions, making the spectacle part game show, part variety show, and part slapstick comedy. «Ta sjansen» was known for its fun, festive atmosphere, and it became a beloved summer tradition in Norway. Though not officially competitive, winners were awarded prizes, and the emphasis was always on entertainment rather than serious sportsmanship.

The Dal brothers set off to search for Professor Drøvel, who disappeared during an expedition twenty years ago. They travel by canoe, Elvegris, and on their journey many strange and inexplicable things happen, which are depicted in sketches. Among other things, the brothers encounter an Indian tribe and a number of pirates, are chased by deadly mosquitoes, and accompany Dracula to the dentist.
