Mona Hofland is a nastily manipulative woman who enjoys playing one lover against the other.

An American bomber is shot down on the Norwegian coast during World War II. The airmen bail out and land at different locations. In spite of the German search for them, the Norwegian resistance picks them up and hides them in the attic of the local church, a center of operations. Things become tense, however, when the hideout is spotted by a notorious collaborator, and soon the protagonist, Hans, has to get the airmen to Sweden.

Crash is a 1974 Norwegian drama film written and directed by Rolf Clemens, starring Jan Solberg and Hanne Krogh. A motorcycle accident leaves the young Jan (Solberg) paralysed. 12-year-old Ragnhild hears a legend about a mad horse that long, long ago ran away from its owners and fled to the mountains. Since then, no one has seen the wild animal. Until now. Ragnhild hears noises in the night and catches a glimpse of a large, black figure trampling in the yard. Shortly afterwards, the animal is gone. She tells others about her experiences, but no one believes her. She therefore decides to travel up to the mountain farm and stay in her family's old cabin. Perhaps she will see the black horse again there. She takes her best friend with her to the mountains in search of the so-called "Wild Horse." However, the wild animal is not the only danger posed by the mighty Sunnmøre Alps. Dangers lurk everywhere in the wild landscape, and hunters are also hunting in the same area. They shoot almost anything they come across.

The play opens in the study at Hakon Werle's house during a dinner party for the return of Werle's son, Gregers, from the Hoidal mines. Gregers has not come home for fifteen years. Old Ekdal appears before two servants, begging to be let into the office. Ekdal was an army officer and partner to Werle until a forestry scandal sent him to prison over some scandal. He now works as one of Werle's copyists.

«Ta sjansen» was a popular Norwegian TV show broadcast on NRK from 1983 to 2002. It was a light-hearted, annual summer event filmed outdoors at the Homenkollen ski jump in Oslo. The show featured contestants competing in two main types of humorous and often chaotic challenges: Homemade boats racing down a steep ramp into the water, and creative bicycles racing on floating docks. Participants often wore silly costumes and built wildly imaginative contraptions, making the spectacle part game show, part variety show, and part slapstick comedy. «Ta sjansen» was known for its fun, festive atmosphere, and it became a beloved summer tradition in Norway. Though not officially competitive, winners were awarded prizes, and the emphasis was always on entertainment rather than serious sportsmanship.

Jul i Skomakergata is a Norwegian TV-show produced in 1979. It is a televised advent calendar, meaning it is broadcast from December 1 to December 24. It has been broadcast several times in Norway by NRK and is one of the most treasured programs in Norwegian television history. The story revolves around shoe repairer Jens Petrus Andersen, played by Henki Kolstad, and his shop. He is visited by friends and townspeople who need their shoes repaired before Christmas. A part of the show consists of showing a clip from Sandmännchen which tells children about the United Nations' Convention on the Rights of the Child. In 2006, the Norwegian comedian Zahid Ali created an advent calendar show called Jul i Tøyengata, a parody of Jul i Skomakergata which shows a multicultural street in Oslo and deals with problems such as racism and cultural clashes.
