Whilst being interviewed for a popular Sarajevan radio talk show, Hilmo, a mild-mannered elderly mailman, recounts the events he, inadvertently through letters, beared witness to during the early years of his employment in the late 1980s and early 1990s, including stories of bitter rivalries turned friendships, secret romances and struggling business owners in search of a better future.

The film, which deals with gay rights issues in Serbia, features footage of the 2010 Belgrade gay pride parade. The film introduces a group of gay activists, trying to organize a pride parade in Belgrade.

Macedonia is a small country, in the heart of the Balkans, which for five centuries was under the yoke of the Ottoman Empire. The action of the film "To the Hilt" takes place in the years of the general collapse and "free fall", after the Macedonian uprising of 1903 which was extinguished in blood. A comedy of everyday life problems of a "temporary" teacher who leads a very "temporary" life. For ten years, he temporarily lives with his married sister in a cramped, one-room apartment in which, his brother's-in-law sister also temporarily lives. He has a diploma, but not a steady job. He's a school teacher for a definite period of time with a "temporary" status. At the mean time, a boy who lives alone with his mother goes to the same school. He wants to have a father by his own choice, not his mother's. It seems that the teacher suits most of the boy's idea of a father. And the boy gains what he always wants.

The conflict between innocence and evil is the shortest definition of the leitmotifs of the film. The story is taking place on a winter day in a remote province, far from all major events that shook the world today. A young woman teacher goes to a remote village where he got the first job after six years of waiting. Happy and hopeful that her life finally begins ... The other main feature is similar to it. Male character returns from the war in which, in fact, he was not. The first day of the war he was wounded and spent eight months in the hospital. His first job as a taxi driver on an empty train station where there is not many passengers, but it offers the peace that he needs to overcome his trauma and that gives hope that he is finally something good to happen. But harsh times threaten to destroy the dreams of the teacher and taxi drivers. Fortunately the man who is young like them, but he has completely different goals in life.

This is the story of the multinational and ethnically conflicted assembly of apatrides from war torn ex-Yugoslavia, hired by a crippled war merchant to sew labels upon fake jeans and participate in drug smuggling ring. Forced and humiliated into doing such work they are locked up in a Paris cellar where they find out that their Western fate brings even worse temptations then the war in Yugoslavia that made them leave the motherland.

The comedy "Radio Mileva", directed by Elmir Jukić, is based on the idea of ​​Nebojsa Garić.
