Country Spirit aka Plain Love III was a television drama series produced by TVB. The series takes place in a winery in China in around 1900-1930. Winemaking, as well as the trials and tribulations of a touching love story between a widow, who is part of a ghost marriage, and her husband's house servant, are the main theme of this series.

Ching Long returns to Hong Kong working manual labour jobs and also as a stunt double. His family consists of his son, his father, and younger sister. The story revolves around Long and misunderstanding with his father as well as his romantic relationships with a Vietnamese refugee Chin Kiu and his sister's best friend, Sum Mun Yee.
