A group of delinquent high school girls form a band when they accidentally poison their school's brass band and have to replace them.

Kitahara Kazunori was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma in the fall of his second year in high school, and thereafter spent a year and 10 months battling the disease. Although he studied hard for the university examinations and was successfully admitted to his first choice, [the prestigious] Tokyo University, he only managed to visit it for a day before passing away. After that, last January [i.e. 2005], Kazunori's mother compiled the thoughts he had left behind and published it as a book, and it was adapted into this drama. Even as Kazunori had to fight his serious illness, he received support from his friends, school teachers and family members, and had warm relations with many people. This drama illustrates the 1 year and 10 months young Kazunori persevered together with the people around him.

Hama-chan goes to Okayama to look for Su-san when he goes missing a few days after freezing up during his inaugural speech as the company chairman.

Two travelers (Makoto Fujita and Minoru Shiraki) travel the Tokaido road and meet the famous Jiro Shimizu and have many comedic adventures.

Mr. Takano, a company employee, announces plans to take an early retirement so he can return to his home town and spend his days fishing. Su-san and Hama-chan envy his decision, and Hama-chan conspires to visit Takano, even though he has no vacation time left.

Maruyama, a day laborer, is living on an abandoned ship at the port of Osaka when he meets an elusive man offering a job.

Inspired by American TV movies like "Hitchcock Theater" and "The Twilight Zone," the show features multiple works with Tamori as the storyteller and actors as the main characters. While horror and supernatural themes are predominant, a variety of genres like comedy and drama are also produced. Most episodes, however, have a bad ending.

Dr. Shindo seems cold, but is a competent surgeon. He is also an ER doctor capable of accurate decisions and treatment, who always tries to see things from the patient’s side. Although once retired from his profession, he one day discovers someone in need of help, who he treats and rushes to the Kohoku Medical University Emergency Center. This incident encourages him to once again work as an ER doctor. Confrontation erupts between female doctor Tamaki, and Shindo, now a just-arrived ER doctor. While this human drama depicts the relationships among doctors and nurses, it appeals emotionally to viewers on the subject of life.

"Mommy will be back in the rainy season." Mio Aio wrote these words in a picture book just before passing away. Though six-year old Yuji accepts his mother's death, he still believes the promise his mother made. Then the rainy season comes, and Yuji and his father, Takumi, meet a woman in the downpour that bears an uncanny resemblance to Mio, but has no recollection of who she is. Taking her in, they reacquaint her with her former self and family life returns to normal as memories come flooding back. But their new life together is interrupted by the discovery of Mio's old diary, which reveals the secrets of her past and how they must say goodbye in six weeks time. ~~ Adapted from the novel "Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu" (いま、会いにゆきます) by Takuji Ichikawa (市川 拓司).

Set at the end of the Edo period, the series depicts Kumo's family with his wife, Kame, their 11-year-old son, Shinnosuke. Kumo is always ignoring work and playing and he is also notorious for womanising.
