A group of rebels travel the outskirts of space evading the sinister Alliance regime. Their lives of smuggling and cargo-running are interrupted by a psychic passenger who harbours a dangerous secret. Soon, the crew find themselves being pursued by an Alliance agent who will stop at nothing to find them.

Comedy drama about an overseas trade fair for a building components company (doors and louvres to be precise), company boss John Garrard is too caught up in trying to make a success of his business to realise that his long time secretary Mrs Rogers is carrying a major torch for him, once it is pointed out to him by a colleague he sets out to seduce her but a series suspected heart attack) conspires against it.

George raises daughter Carmen and dyslexic son Max with his wife Angie, after surviving a miserable, dysfunctional childhood at the hands of his neglectful alcoholic mother Benny.

Each episode of this series, set in contemporary Los Angeles, examines one crime from many different viewpoints - uniformed cops, detectives, witnesses, the media, the fire department and rescue squad, even the criminals themselves.
